Applied and Technicals Department

This department comprises seven subjects namely:
-    Business studies
-    Computer studies
-    Home Science
-    Agriculture
-    Music
-    French and
-    Art and design
Amongst these subjects, two are compulsory in form one and these are Computer Studies and Business Studies. The other five are optional in form one. This implies that at form one level the learner does three technical subjects, but in form two the learner is only allowed to do one technical subject.
These subjects are handled by qualified teachers who are;

 Vanessa Grant Girls’ School is highly endowed with resources for technical subjects, especially those with practicals. In particular, these are a well-furnished ICT laboratory with adequate computers, a home science Complex equipped with Sewing machines; cookers, refrigerators and other small equipment, A Music room with various musical instruments and a spacious Art and Design room.
The facilities are immensely boosting the performance of students in the above-mentioned subjects. All the subjects in this department are admirable with performance.
